Altum Technologies is very proud to introduce a one-of-a-kind new generation of Power Ultrasound fouling cleaning devices. The first product of this new generation to see the light is AltumPI Mark III. Back in June 2017, we released the 2nd generation of AltumPI (the 1st one was our prototype in 2016).

The launch event was held in Brussels, Belgium, today, February 15th. CEO Matias Tainela and Marketing Director Esteban Soto presented our technology and new product to a selected audience of more than 15 global process industry companies.

Now is time for a more powerful device, robust Central Unit, updated software and a completely new clamp-on attachment.

“We want to continue moving towards ease of use and scalability of our system, AltumPI Mark III is proof of that.” CEO Matias Tainela says. “Cleaning fouling doesn’t have to be a complicated maintenance task in which you need to use tons of your employees’ time and completely stop production.”

Altum Technologies clean pipes fouling

Altum Technologies has put a lot of effort into improving its software to be able to meet the growing market demand and customer need for larger cleaning systems. For this Mark III release, the software features new ways we can tackle different fouling types, more spread-out systems and ease-of-use. Hardware is a big part of how our device can be easily implemented in an industrial facility, but the essential part of our solution is in the software.

“Our software is the brain behind the technology needed to remove fouling with Power Ultrasound effectively, the magic happens in there. Without the software, it would be impossible to control the Power Ultrasound to do exactly what we want, when we want, and where inside the structure we want to clean.” -Timo Rauhala, CTO.
